About GPGA

Welcome to the Georgia Propane Gas Association. Our membership is composed of propane marketers and affiliate members throughout Georgia and the US.

The mission of the Georgia Propane Gas Association is to promote the safe and increased use of propane as the fuel of choice for Georgia; to provide regulatory and legislative advocacy, and to provide a forum for networking and education & safety.

Through increased membership and member participation we strive to meet the educational needs of our members, maintain favorable relationships with regulatory agencies and other trade groups, and influence legislation to improve the business environment and assure equitable competition.

Propane won't ignite when combined with air unless the source of ignition reaches at least 920 degrees Fahrenheit. In contrast, gasoline will ignite when the source of ignition reaches only 430 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
